As Sam says, “Loopt on the Sprint Instinct provides the best location experience in the market today. Using the Loopt Location Platform, we’re able to deliver high-quality always-on location in a cost-effective manner. We’re excited to work with Sprint to bring this kind of location experience to more of their top devices.”

I don't understand why Loopt needs to much information on the iPhone in order to set up an account. Why do I have to put in my birthdate?

This is absolutely fantastic. Thanks for finally adding support to the Samsung Instinct phones. Your app is the first full, rich app that I have for this thing.

If I sign up, how customizable is the app on sharing info on where I am, or where my child is...especially with all the predators out there?

Rick - It is only required for account verification purposes.

Dave - You can easily control when to share your location, who you would like to share your location with, and where you set your location. Go here to learn more: http://www.loopt.com/about/privacy-security.

Hey guys, this app is awesome... Except for one critical thing; it won't show my exact location on the map. Instead it shows me being in the middle of the sea! I live in Puerto Rico, so maybe it's the map info that needs to get things straight? I really would love to get this to work; because despite it not showing correctly on the map, the directions are dead on... Please fix this! Contact me if you need more info (screenshots and the like)
