Are you an AT&T subscriber who owns a Motorola V9x, Motorola Z9n, or Nokia 6650? Yes? Sweet, we want your feedback.
We’re continuing to make Loopt available across all major carriers and devices and, to help test-drive Loopt before we roll it out to more AT&T customers next year, we are releasing a beta version on these select AT&T phones. Get Loopt (at no cost) on these phones by registering at www.loopt.com. Find out more at http://www.wireless.att.com/source/connect/loopt/.
Remember, this is a beta version so you should expect to run into various issues. Please let us know about your experience particularly any location issues by e-mailing us at [email protected] with your comments, ideas, and questions. The feedback we receive from the Loopt community is invaluable in helping improve our service so don’t forget to keep in touch with us!
When is Loopt coming for the T-Mobile Blackberry Curve? C'mon guys - you support the Curve on other networks, and it's a pretty popular device for T-Mobile.

JR - Indeed, we support the AT&T Curve 8310 and the Sprint Curve 8330 (http://www.loopt.com/phones/blackberry). However, we don't support the T-Mobile Blackberry Curve because it doesn't have GPS capability. :(

Why do you only support this very limited set of phones? I have an unlocked Nokia N85 with built-in GPS and I would LOVE to use Loopt AND pay for it. The Nokia 6650 runs the same OS and is supported. I don't see why this has to be a carrier-based thing.

When is At&T Bold support coming?
Posted by: Jason | December 31, 2008 at 09:13 PM
Jason - We're working on it! We'll have it up here: http://www.loopt.com/phones/ as soon as it's ready.
Ben - We wish it were easy. There's a bunch of work that goes into making Loopt compatible for each phone. Each time, we have to account for differences between carriers as well as the various devices. Thanks so much for your interest though. We feel your pain.
